第五届棕地再生与生态修复国际会议（米兰）将于2025年10月5日-10日在意大利米兰理工大学CRAFT中心举办！
请有意参会者注意，注册截止日期为8月15日。
本届会议由中国风景园林学会指导，清华大学建筑学院、世界绿色设计组织（WGDO）及米兰理工大学联合主办，清华大学建筑学院棕地研究中心承办，北京交通大学建筑与艺术学院及生态规划与绿色建筑教育部重点实验室（清华大学）协办，中国美术学院建筑艺术学院风景园林系支持。
本届会议恰逢中欧建交50周年重要契机，以“创意资本：棕地再生中的艺术与设计”（Creative Capital: the Rise of Arts and Design in Brownfield Regeneration）为主题，积极响应“中欧绿色行动”倡议，致力于构建跨学科国际对话平台。会议聚焦艺术与设计在棕地再生中的创新驱动作用，围绕“遗产（Heritage）”、“文化（Culture）”、“形象（Identity）”三大核心议题，邀请全球专家学者、艺术家与设计师分享跨学科实践成果，探讨艺术介入如何激活工业遗产、文化叙事如何赋能场所精神、设计创新如何重塑城乡形象，推动棕地再生从技术修复迈向社会价值共创，为中欧绿色合作注入新动能，进一步深化中欧绿色伙伴关系建设。
The 5th International Conference on Brownfield Regeneration and Ecological Restoration（Milan） will be held from October 6th to 10th, 2025, in CRAFT, Politecnico di Milano, Italy.
Please note that the registration deadline for those interested in attending is August 15th.
Guided by the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture, the conference is co-hosted by the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University, the World Green Design Organization (WGDO), and Politecnico di Milano . It is organized by the Center for Brownfields Research at the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, with co-organizers from the School of Architecture and Design, Beijing Jiaotong University, and the Key Laboratory of Eco-Planning & Green Building (Tsinghua University), Ministry of Education. Support is provided by the Department of Landscape Architecture, School of Architecture, China Academy of Art.
Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of China–EU diplomatic relations, the conference adopts the theme “Creative Capital: the Rise of Arts and Design in Brownfield Regeneration”. Actively responding to the "China-EU Green Action" initiative, it aims to establish a multidisciplinary, international dialogue platform. Focusing on the innovative role of arts and design in brownfield regeneration, the event will center on three core topics: Heritage, Culture, and Identity. It will invite leading scholars, artists, and designers worldwide to share interdisciplinary practices and explore how artistic interventions revitalize industrial heritage, how cultural narratives empower placemaking, and how design innovation reshapes urban and rural identities. The conference seeks to advance brownfield regeneration from technical remediation to the co-creation of social value, injecting new momentum into China-EU green cooperation and deepening the green partnership.

本次案例现场研讨聚焦意大利米兰的城市更新与棕地再生项目，涵盖多个具有代表性的城市公共空间与生态修复案例，旨在每个鲜活的棕地现场探讨景观设计如何介入城市棕地转型，推动生态、文化与社区价值的融合。
本次研讨涉及的棕地案例包括但不限于：
This on-site case study focuses on urban regeneration and brownfield revitalization projects in Milan, Italy, examining a range of representative urban public spaces and ecological restoration cases. We will delve into dynamic brownfield transformation sites to explore how landscape design effectively intervenes in this process, fostering the integration of ecological, cultural, and community values.
The brownfield sites for this case study include but are not limited to:
① “树图书馆”公园（BAM – Biblioteca degli Alberi）位于米兰Porta Nuova区核心地带，原址为二战后长期闲置的城市棕地，曾用作建筑材料堆场及临时活动场地，土地破碎且缺乏规划。后由Inside Outside事务所中标设计竞赛，并于2018年建成，将约9公顷的闲置用地转化为开放式公共绿地。公园以几何交错的步道网络连接多片“圆形森林”和草地空间，融合生态修复、文化活动与休闲功能，成为米兰棕地再利用与城市更新的典范案例。
① The “Library of Trees” Park (BAM – Biblioteca degli Alberi) is located in the heart of Milan’s Porta Nuova district, on a site that had long remained an urban brownfield after World War II, previously used as a storage yard for construction materials and a venue for temporary events, with a fragmented and unplanned layout. Designed by Inside Outside, which won the design competition, and completed in 2018, the project transformed approximately 9 hectares of idle land into an open public green space. With a geometric network of intersecting paths linking multiple “circular forests” and lawn areas, the park integrates ecological restoration, cultural activities, and leisure functions, making it a landmark example of brownfield reuse and urban regeneration in Milan.

② Bosco Verticale（垂直森林） 位于米兰Porta Nuova区，原址是被铁路轨道与废弃工业用地断裂隔绝的“城市伤口”，属于典型棕地，并长期处于荒废状态。由Boeri Studio设计，建筑立面覆盖数百棵树木、灌木和多年生植物，创造出“垂直森林”效果。该项目成功将棕地转化为具里程碑意义的绿色居住地，成为城市生态再生与可持续建筑的全球标杆。
② Bosco Verticale (Vertical Forest) is located in Milan’s Porta Nuova district, on a site once severed and isolated by railway tracks and abandoned industrial land—a typical brownfield that had long remained derelict. Designed by Boeri Studio, the buildings’ façades are covered with hundreds of trees, shrubs, and perennial plants, creating the effect of a “vertical forest.” The project successfully transformed the brownfield into a landmark green residential complex, becoming a global benchmark for urban ecological regeneration and sustainable architecture.

③ Portello公园位于米兰原Alfa Romeo工厂园区，这是一片典型的城市棕地，工厂停用后长期闲置荒废。由Charles Jencks与Andreas Kipar领衔设计，将约73,000平方米的旧工业用地改造为以“时间”为主题的公共绿地，通过螺旋丘、时间花园、环形水池等景观结构，融合生态修复与休闲功能，成为棕地再生与城市更新的典范。
③ Portello Park is located on the former Alfa Romeo factory site in Milan, a typical urban brownfield that had long been left idle and abandoned after the factory ceased operations. Designed by Charles Jencks and Andreas Kipar, the project transformed approximately 73,000 square meters of former industrial land into a public green space themed around “time.” Featuring landscape elements such as spiral mounds, a time garden, and a circular pond, the park integrates ecological restoration with recreational functions, becoming a model of brownfield regeneration and urban renewal.

④ 博维萨区（Bovisa）位于米兰西北部，原为农业区，工业化后聚集了大型工厂、热电厂和煤气储罐，是典型的老工业棕地。核心区域“La Goccia”因铁路环绕而形成封闭空间，土壤曾受严重污染。当前由政府、高校（米兰理工大学）及开发商合作推进更新，通过污染清理、土地再规划与绿色建筑改造，将约85公顷的废弃工业地块转型为集科研、教育与可持续居住于一体的城市新区。
④ The Bovisa district in northwest Milan, once an agricultural area turned industrial hub, is a typical old brownfield. Its core, “La Goccia,” enclosed by railways and heavily polluted, is now being regenerated through soil remediation, land re-planning, and green building, transforming about 85 hectares into a district for research, education, and sustainable living.

He is a PhD student in Engineering at the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. His scholarly output includes five Chinese/English publications, co-authorship of two industry technical standards, and two invention/utility model patents. His honors include: First Prize, Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Award, IFLA ASIA-PAC LA Award, First Prize, Ji Cheng Award (China Exploration and Design Association).
